About Me

I have had an interesting life, but have always felt like I didn't belong. I was the nerd in school--honor roll, hung out at the library, loved science, the whole bit. When I was a teenager I wanted to be an astronaut. I wanted to travel to other lands---in space! When I wasn't dreaming about being a member of the crew of the Starship Enterprise, I was dreaming of a castle by the sea with werewolves, vampires and a local demon or two. I like to do crafts, mainly crochet, I like to write poetry, draw and paint. I wish I had the time to do all I really wanted to do, but I figure if I can make just one person smile or laugh in a day, I did good. I am a perceptor--I can "read" people. I can usually tell if someone is a "fake" individual. Pretty on the outside, but with an ugly soul underneath. I despise two-face braggers who think they are the best thing since sliced bread. Bragging how much you have or how much you've done doesn't impress me. It angers me. The mortals on this planet have let theirselves get way too materialistic. People have to realize that all the money in the world will not help them in the afterlife. Greed is one of the seven deadly sins, right? We are sucking this planet dry because of greed. My Interests

I love nature and animals. You are likely to find me browsing a book store because I love to read. I love to crochet, paint and do other crafts. I have always been interested in the paranormal and ghosthunting.

Music:

I love all kinds of music depending on what mood I'm in. I listen to classic rock, metal, jazz, classical, blues, and some country. The music I listen to depends on my mood. I like various artists. My favorite type of music is rock and roll. Some of what I listen to is Cher, Whitesnake, Guns & Roses, Barry Manilow, Aerosmith, Blondie, Alice Cooper, Pat Benetar, Styx, Marilyn Manson, Weird Al Yankovic, Queen, Poison, Ozzy Osborne, AC/DC.................... Oh, and I like a good movie musical every now and then.& I just love show tunes!

Movies:

Some of my favorite movies are The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (The Fellowship is my favorite!), The Wizard of Oz, The Devil's Advocate, Hairspray, Summer School, The Breakfast Club, Legend, What About Bob?, all of the Star Trek movies, Queen of the Damned, Rosemary's Baby, all of the Harry Potter movies, the Blade trilogy, the Resident Evil trilogy, Underworld and Constantine, to name a few.

Television:

My favorite shows are Ghost Hunters, Dexter, Supernatural, Dirty Jobs, Strange Foods with Andrew Zimmerman, No Reservatons, NCIS, Quantum Leap, Star Trek, Kolchak, The Night Stalker, The X-Files..............

Books:

I like non-fiction a lot. You are never to old to get a new wrinkle in your brain, as my 10th grade science teacher used to say. I love to browse in Barnes and Noble's craft section, Feng Shui section, as well as their New Age Section. I lose all track of time when I am in a bookstore or the library. When I want fiction, I like suspense and horror

Heroes:

My heroes are people who struggle through unbelievable odds and have success due to their courage and perseverance. I always root for the underdog!
