I may not be a materialistsic man, but damnit, I am still a man! ...so I like nice cars I can always dream My interests seem to be a devotion to my plethora of changing interests. lol. I happen to believe that the world around us is knowledge. So a main interest of mine would have to be just gathering as much of it as possible... and music! anything that may have to do with it....including my band:
any band I have not yet met already, cool people.^ ^ muhammed suicmez... again!^^^ These guys embody the undiluted & unfiltered sound of pain and hate, spiked with a dash of obsession. TODAY IS THE DAY is a trip through insanity. Ian MacKaye anyone else that peaks my interest. see "Heroes"
hell yeah! Music consists of a very large chunk of my life. I like pretty much every type of music (even if it is new, old, mainstream, or underground), but Hardcore, and almost any type of Metal are my favs. along with regular Punk, Emo, Alternative, Classical, and techno/electronic, etc. waaaaaaay too many individual bands to list all. Anybody that thinks any form of extreme music is evil or just noise is a pinata full of manure. People like extreme music for the same reasons they like action movies or going on roller coasters. It is every aspect of music amplified, a high dosage of general music. It is honest, catchy, technical & complex, dirty, and pure. It has passion, soul, edge, and above all, power... a driving force. This abundance of "substance" is why my type of music is described as "heavy". Most people listen to the music that is now popular because people dont want to actually think about their music anymore, they just want to have some white noise on in the background while they hang out, gossip at partys, or go to the gym. Most of it is just catchy, and that's it. And since heavy music is not easily digestible, it becomes increasingly foreign to them. Major labels are only concered in what sells... what will make them rich. So if you say "They're making money, so they must be doing something right!", then you are completely full of shit.Attn. Everyone: Download Soulseek (www.slsknet.com), a file-sharing program that is really great. And if you feel like seeing just what I exactly have on my computer, look for the user "bootscraper" I don't listen to Radio except 89.7, 88.9, 106.9, and the local college station, 91.7 WMSE. And WMSE's best block is Wednesday nights from 9-midnight w/ Laura.A chunk of my favorite music I appreciate because of lyrics that are easy to relate to. It's not just sharing the same views, thoughts & ideas. It's also about the delivery, getting that feeling that makes you want to say "He said it the exact same way I would have liked to have said it"... I love music, no mattter what genre, that I can connect with. It's great when you understand a song, but it is magic when a song understands you.
AdaptationEternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (almost anything Charlie Kauffman writes is good) The Truman show is a metaphor for real life in a few ways, or at least mine *shrugs* ^^ while obviously being fiction, Canadian Bacon parallels exactly to current events and politics more than any other movie. The bands and friends around me that continue to inspire me. As well as the following:

anybody who believes in a cause so much (save brainwashing), that they are willing to die for it. No bullets can penetrate the tree of reform that feeds off the blood of martyrs.
