I really love print media advertisements. My walls are usually plastered with them. It's a sickness, i know.
When i'm not trapped in a basement lab crunching numbers, i love the beach in wintertime (but not really ever going in the water, regardless of the season--i've gotten it into my head that all the sharkies want to eat me, specifically me, are hunting me and only me), penguins at aquariums, any and all parks (gold star if they have statues), art museums, and going to the movies, especially the ones that critics hate (Gigli wasn't half bad).
I'm still deciding. Most of the people i want to meet, i've already met.
Puddle of Mudd, Damien Rice, My Chemical Romance, Kings of Leon, Regina Spektor, Wir Sind Helden, The Beatsteaks, Nirvana, The Strokes, Kelis, Alison Krauss, Ray Charles, Nelly Furtado's 2nd album, Blink-182, and opera on cd (i have a desperate weakness for Puccini's Turandot), but rarely in person.
I'll watch anything once (except The Cell).
Thirteen Ghosts is the scariest movie i've ever seen--and one of the best (at least i think so, i haven't been able to bring myself to watch it again with my eyes open).
Top 4 movies: Taps, Das Wunder von Bern, Signs, An Affair To Remember.
FINE--shut up. My ultimate favorite movie of all time is Dumb & Dumber. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?!
Joan of Arcadia, but only because i talk to the ceiling and like the idea of actually talking to someone in person.
Early Edition, The Simpsons, Grey's Anatomy, Nip|Tuck, Father Ted, Are You Being Served, Keeping Up Appearences--ahh bad britcoms! Oh, and that show about Hugh Hefner's girlfriends--they have puppies! Billions of them! And one girl has a monkey! A real live monkey! It has, as of late, occurred to me that males and females likely watch the show for very different reasons. Regardless--puppies AND monkeys!!! Does it get any better?
I'll read anything once.
Just finished a bio on the KKK, am working my way through a very sticky sweet book called A Severe Mercy and am memorizing Virgo/Pig from Suzanne White's The New Astrology.
It's 2006--i am my own hero.
Oh wait, i'm lying--my Magic 8 ball is my hero. I consult him way too regularly.
Oh and Barracudo. I love him. He saved my life.
