Tangier is an isolated island located in the Chesapeake Bay accessible only by boat or airplane. Tangier Island is famous among linguists for the unique and distinct American English dialect hypothesized to be unchanged since English colonization. Boats to Tangier is a unique and distinct band reigning from the Delmarva Peninsula. Boats to Tangier consists of Jordan Williams (vocals and guitars), Jessie Mitchell (piano keyboard and vocals), Peter Staubs (drums and other), Jesse Brauninger (synthesizer, high pitched singing) Grayson English (bass and vocals) and Louis Spies (guitar and things).
