I only put Pen to Paper to say what’s on my mind, cos I can never find the words, without the music behind me. I can’t be defeated, I’d feel I’d been cheated out of a love I’ve craved to feel so long. If I close my eyes and count to 10, then maybe all this pain will end? But only hoping for the best, won’t see my demons laid to rest. I’ve got a draw full of dreams and aspirations, some I tell, but, most I keep to myself. You see, life has it’s own way of setting free, what once was locked it then hands you the key, to open up the doors to destiny. What is perfection, it’s just perception of happiness in my mind. Mysteries and make believes aren’t always what they seem to be, sometimes I get tired trying to make sense of it all. I’ve worked too hard to disregard this feeling I want in my heart forever. All I know is what I feel and my heart this feeling’s real. Damn I just gotta face it, I’m who I’m living for. I’m not the kinda girl to talk about my issues on the inside It’s taken so much for me to confess what is deep inside Time just goes, seems to pass me by, so I’m living for today to find tomorrow!
