It's everyone's responsibility not only for ourselves, but for future generations. We are responsible for the world we leave behind.When you don't control your gov't., people want to kill you.I am also for ending the war on drugs (not completely though Meth must be controlled because of the fact that it steals it's abusers' conscience, and the environmental threats resulting from it's production) - how much sense does it make that our Supreme court recognizes drug addiction as a disease, yet people are punished for having this disease - you don't punish someone for being sick, you help them, or require them to seek help - drug possession should only result in criminal liability when person's caught with controlled substances fail to complete their court imposed rehab, and stay clean for a set amount of time or if they are committing other crimes to support their drug habits. Drug policies such as these regarding dangerous and addictive drugs do work, look to various European Nations that don't have the drug laws that we do, yet they don't have anywhere near the crime rate that we do. We can not afford to keep filling our prisons with people who are sick.The saddest thing about American politics are the fact that the media can single handedly win elections for the wrong candidates. A majority of Americans want change, but they still continue to vote for the two major parties' nominees - haven't the two major parties' candidates that have monopolized American politics done enough Damage.I think we should all be rioting, burning down police departments, And IRS buildings and demanding that we have a say of where our tax dollars are spent, that our troops are brought home from overseas, and that stupid laws are taken off the books - like getting a DUI on a bicycle for one. We should also demand that our gov't stop giving military aid to murderous regimes - like Israel - terrorism is a symptom of failed U.S. foreign policy - people don't blow themselves up because they're brainwashed, they blow themselves up because they have no other way to fight back against more powerful forces that have commited war crimes/crimes against humanity, forces that have bulldozed the homes of their relatives - it's simple human nature - when life is good for you, you won't complain, but on the other end of that spectrum, when you've endured a lot of heart-ache, suddenly, Suicide doesn't sound so bad - especially when you can strike out against those who have tormented you and your loved ones - look at Israel, and it's on going war against indigenous Palestinian people.My top 5 friends are my cousins - two live in Atwater (Alexandria and Russel), two live in England (Aaron and Catherine), and one lives in Middletown California (Alyssa) I'm so glad I get to see my two cousins who live in England this April (it's been like over 5 years) - I'm gonna take them to a casino where hopefully one of us make a killing. I can't wait til they get here on April 15th, and we get to have a pseudo family reunion, and I can get drunk and eat like royalty with them (unfortunately, not everyone will be able to be there on my mom's side).
