Hi, I am Arne from Kiel, Germany, which is also my country of birth. My main interests are linguistics and history, but also religion and photography. I consider myself as a friend of the Faroe Islands. I speak not only English and Danish fluently, but can also follow Faroese more or less.
Politically, I am democratic socialist, but not very active anymore. I am logically anti-fascist and my special interests are anti-semitism and islamophobia, which I consider as two siblings. I am also against homophobia and other kinds of silly stuff. I support independence of the Faroe Islands, as far, as it is result of a democratic poll. :-)
At Wikipedia, I work in the German language version on Faroese and also Danish topics. At Wiktionary, I prefer the English version, compiling a dictionary Faroese-English, which is still under construction but maybe the most comprehensive in the entire internet:
