Well I am a 1988 Graduate from Van, Texas. Happily married to the same great woman from high school (yes I married way above my head) and I have two great kids. We still live in the Van area and I am still in Law Enforcement. I am an Investigator for the Van Zandt County Criminal District Attorney and do Felony Investigations. I have been in Law Enforcement since November 1989 when I went to work in the county jail while going to TJC. I have worked my way up the food chain to the top and had a wild ride getting here. I was a plain clothes (undercover) narcotic officer from 1995-1999 and was assigned Dallas, Kaufman and Van Zandt Counties during that time period. I bought a lot of dope while undercover and did a lot of traveling. I have been a SWAT team member and was SWAT team leader at the time I left narcotic service and came to the DA’s Office. I have had advanced training in the manufacturing of methamphetamine and drug labs, explosive devices and demolition and forensic data recovery. I have started my own company doing forensic data recovery with the hope that the business will one day provide me the ability to hang up my gun and badge and do nothing but forensic data recovery.
