About Me

Welcome friends and strangers! I hope you will enjoy listening to some of my songs here. If you want to buy a copy of my latest album Paper Owls, please send me a message! The album contains 9 songs and was recorded during the harsh winter and lovely spring of 2008. With me on the album are amazing friends and musicians such as Lisa Isaksson, Rowan Rheingans, David Svedmyr, Oona Libens and Glenn Goring (the brilliant guitarist from the brilliant Comus), many thanks to you!
At the moment I live in Kendal, in the lovely Cumbria, where I write music and play gigs. I am working on a little demo with some new songs written since I moved to the UK, so please come back soon and have a listen!
Have a beautiful day and welcome back!
Love and music is all,
Peace.
Said about Jennie:
"You should be on a real stage, problem is you're too talented, and there are too many knob-heads around!" -Very Drunk Man at an Open Mic night.
"Jennie, you are an extremely talented singer and songwriter. Purposeful and persistent, you have developed a most personal style with feeling and imagination." - Per-Erik Moraeus, Orsa Music Fund
"... sometimes powerful and at other times gentle and melancholy, but always performed with real emotion. Her expressive voice will entrance you and sometimes surprise you with its strength." - Andy Hellaby, basist of Comus

I need help! When I was a little child, interested in space and dinosaurs, I often went to our local library to read a picture book called Martins Rymdfärd by Miloslav Topinka. In English it's calle...
