Apple Scruffs: a Tribute to The Beatles

They are a Beatle tribute band formed in Whittier, CA in 2002 as The WannaBeatles then changed their name more recently to Apple Scruffs. Many have said that the Apple Scruffs sound like if The Beatles had kept their "more rocking sound" as they had when they played such clubs as The Cavern in Liverpool or Kaiser Keller in Germany.The group's bass player was inspried to form a Beatle tribute band after he first saw the Broadway show Beatlemania when he was a very young lad and thought that would be a really fun project to do. So, in the middle of 2002, he had met up with some other people in Whittier and they all decided to form a Beatle band that would rock everybody's socks off!a
