About Me



I began DJing at a college radio station in 1997, playing a heavy mix of industrial and underground alternative music. I left radio in 2001 and moved to Portland. From 2004 to the present day I've written for 3 different music webzines, including Fabryka Industrial Rock. In 2008 I launched a new site with Niesa Kaladae, where you can find interviews with bands such Chemlab, 16Volt, Filter and a wide swath of others in the industrial and rock music scenes. I've written dozens of reviews, and have taken a hefty amount of concert photography, some bad and some fantastic. You can scope out my work and learn more about underground music at PDX Darkside
Presently, my primary focus is as a resident DJ at Hive. Along with Owen and a rotating cast of guests, we bring you the best in industrial, gothic, ebm, powernoise and darkwave music. Hive is every Sunday at Plan B, SE 8th and Main in Portland, Oregon. We kick it off at 9pm and go til 2. Hive is now free.
