This Manko-o-manko design is my gracious tribute to an ingenious Japanese invention that was spawned in the early 80ies in Japanese sleaze perv joints called no-pan-kisa - no-panties-café.
As reported in the book Pink Samurai by Nicholas Bornoff, in the main room of one of those legendary establishments salarymen with glazed eyes could gaze up at the floor above, made of thick two-way mirrored glass, in which the panty-less waitresses in tiny miniskirts served coffee with floor-leveled spotlights shining up their skirts.
After a warning from the police, the manager showed the typical Japanese genius of compromise by having the girls wear panties with a realistic print of female genitalia on the crotch. One day one of the girls rebelled against such absurdity by coming to work panty-less. Alas the diligent police officers posing as customers had been squinting up sufficiently hard to notice the difference, and the place was closed down.
