About Me

I am very honest, sometimes too straight. I have a big heart & I sometimes leave myself too open to get hurt. I love my job as a Medical Assistant/Diagnostic Scheduler at a cancer center, going on 4 1/2 years (since I graduated Med. Asst. school with a 4.0 & the highest award of "Graduate of the Quarter"). I enjoy being back in college part-time to get my bachelors in nursing (currently holding my GPA @ 4.0). I have had a calling, all my life... to care for others & I am going after my dream! And I hope to lead my children by example... that hard work pays off, never back down from your fears & you make your own happiness! I am the Secretary Officer for the Psi Eta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa & I am very excited to be a leader of such a prestigious Honor's Society! I love the hispanic culture & want my children to learn that part of their heritage. I believe that God never leads you to something that you can not handle & with him as your guide, you will never find yourself lost or alone! I believe that everything in life has a lesson to learn from. And life is what you make of it. We all have our hills to climb, hopefully you have friends & family to help pull you up & your own strength to overcome the mountains. I think that you should never judge a book by it's cover. I strongly feel that racism is ignorance. I look for someone that can see that the rainbows colors blend into a beautiful symbol of God's promise of unconditional love.

My Interests

My children are my life! I LOVE going to college for my Bachelor's in Nursing! I enjoy music, movies, going to church & having great conversations!

Books:

I have read Psychology, Philosopy, World Religion, Nutrition, History 1301 & Sociology textbooks from front to back! The last "Non-school" book I read was Nurse by Peggy Anderson-very good! I am currently reading History & Lit of the Bible, the Bible & Catholicism for Dummies.
