I'm the nice girl, with a twist. I'm considerate, sincere, thoughtful...a kind person. But, I have enough spunk to give back as good as I get. I have that vulnerable side, but then can be tough as nails when I need to be. I believe that what you put out in the world, is what you get back, so I try to live my life with that in mind. I have a lot of compassion and am forgiving. I try to find the best there is in everyone and every situation, sometimes that's harder than others. I've found that sometimes good things come out of bad situations though. Those difficult experiences are usually the ones we grow through. Sometimes you even end up gaining more than you lost. I'm an eternal optimist and true romantic. I'm very passionate about love and life. If you've been loved by me, you probably always will be. There's still a place in my heart for anyone who has managed to get there, which is not as easy as it may seem. I like to think I've learned something from my experiences, and that the relationships have made me who I am today. It's been a long road to get to where I am, but no regrets. I've learned a lot over the years, things I thought that mattered when I was in my 20's, I could care less about now. I'm definitely more confident now than I was 10 years ago. I guess with age and life experiences, you gain perspective. I know who I am, what I want and know how to get it, I don't wait for things to happen for me. I think I've been unfairly judged at first glance by people, so I don't judge anyone. Most people are worth taking the time to get to know and then making an opinion about. I could care less what people look like, what they do for a living, what kind of car they drive, as long as they treat me well and bring something to the table, it's all good. I think that's what makes life interesting, is that people from different backgrounds, who have different beliefs and opinions can meet and become great friends. I'm very girly and love all things that go with that. I can still work it out at the gym though, or be totally casual. It's all about being comfortable in your own skin. I want to embrace all there is in life and am pretty open-minded to most experiences. There are many different sides to me that people don't realize. I can sip champagne at a black-tie affair just as easily as I can shoot pool and drink a beer. I can enjoy the ground underneath a tree as well as a suite at the Four Seasons. I'm more about the company I keep than what I'm doing. With that said, I love to make new friends!
Besides the obvious, things I love are, autumn, a rainy day, a good tan, tea, wildflowers, a soft blanket, great shoes, little dresses, soft skin, pedicures, hugs and kisses from my sons, my special memories, sunshine, the perfect bag, big sunglasses, diamonds, a good meal with a great friend, ice cream, new friends, bubble baths, a sharp mind, the beach, the color brown, a good hair day, deep conversations, comfortable silence, going to breakfast, being strong and healthy, the color red, the smell of buttercream frosting, fishnets, berries, going to weddings, martinis, lip gloss, lingerie, eyeliner, mountains, chemistry, cold beer, hot showers, polka dots, inside jokes, laughter, old friends, vintage clothes, being real, boyshorts, text messaging.
