The Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter, Tanya Porter, has many aspirations but one stands above all, to introduce herself and her music as insightful, full of hope, and most importantly aware of her surroundings.
Mysteries of Life, originally recorded in 2003, is a flawless example of how the 25 year old artists can not only share her pain, but paint a picture with her lyrical commentary. Grounded as a vocalist with a classic soulful-sound, it's Tanya's awareness and versatility that sets her apart from the common artist. Most recently Tanya has launched the ground-workings of her new EP, entitled In The Making. The record will exhibit sounds inspired from classic hip-hop, acoustic soul, Jazz, and Rhythm & Blues.
