I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hi! My name is Graham Espe. I am the owner/operator of Mixed Jam Recording, a small-scale live and studio recording service based out of my home in central NY state. During the day I am a college Audio-Visual Tech. It's a great job that I enjoy a lot- teaching people to use technology and fixing it when it doesn't work right. I moonlight as the soundguy for The Electric Company on Varick St. in Utica NY.
I am also a referee and help with other stuff for Central New York Roller Derby League. I am in the process of starting a men's roller derby team called The Quadfathers based out of Utica. I live in Utica with my wife Heather and our two absolutely crazy Australian Cattle Dogs, Pan & Abby.
I handle all aspects of audio recording including studio projects for bands, vocal groups, teaching aides, guided meditations, audio transfers, audio restorations, production, studio construction consultations, studio musician services, mastering, and more. However, my real passion is for live multi-track recording and later mixing and mastering for live albums for music groups.
My business motto, "Preserving the Moment" applies to all my jobs, whether in-studio or on-location.....I strongly feel that the most important part of the recording process is catching the artist(s) when they are at their best and most comfortable. Over the past years I have scaled down my business from a full fledged commercial recording studio to what it is now......and the change has only benefited my clients. I will only take on a project if I am able to provide my undivided attention to my clients' needs. Please see my blog for updates on current projects.
My MySpace Friends Policy
Everyone in my friends list is someone I actually know or have worked with in some way or another. I deny friend requests if they come from someone I don't know and don't have an accompanying message explaining who they are. SOOOO, if you sent me a friend request and it didn't go through, don't take it personally. Just send another one along with a quick message saying hi and who you are and I'll approve it. I really don't like people using other's friends lists to troll for marketing, so I don't approve anyone doing that.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
