Anything from sports and the outdoors to friends and family. What I'm doing right now is getting in shape to ski this winter, run a half marathon in February, and trying to find a bike to buy. I'm also seriously thinking about going back to school for photography or outdoor recreation, but we'll see. Other things I love include volleyball, rollerblading, skiing, backpacking, soccer, tennis, running 10k's, photography, dancing, softball and so many more things! I can also settle down with a good book like something from John Grisham or take a long nap. When I have a chance to be at home I love to spend time with my niece and nephew (B and T) and my puppy Kaya.
I want to meet people who aren't selfish and self-centered. I'm tired of meeting people who are only interested in themselves and who don't know how to be true friends. I want to meet people who are accepting and understanding. People who are empathetic and are willing to put effort into maintaining a friendship. People who recognize faults but focus on the positive.
If I'm in the right mood I love just about any type of music. If I'm in the mood to dance, well, I love dance music. I like to workout or rollerblade to R & B, dance, or pop. Afterall, you have to have something to help you make it up the hills. If I want to relax I love the soundtracks to Last Samurai, Braveheart, and Last of the Mohicans. Some of the artists I like are Switchfoot, Hoobastank, Jem, Matt Kearney, Nickelback, Overflow, POD, Plumb, Sanctus Real and more :-)
Your Theme Song is Back in Black by AC/DC
"Back in black, I hit the sack,
I've been too long, I'm glad to be back"
Things sometimes get really crazy for you, and sometimes you have to get away from all the chaos.
But each time you stage your comeback, it's even better than the last!
What's Your Theme Song?
I love Law and Order, CSI, Heroes, Lost, and Grey's Anatomy.
There are so many good books, but a few I can get lost in are books by John Grisham, Louis L'Amour, Harlan Coben and some Dean Koontz. I love Memoirs of a Geisha (long before it became a movie), The Pact, The Last Time They Met, and It's Not About the Bike (inspiring books are awesome to read over and over again).
