Skylar Bane was born 28th of December 1983 in Madrid, Spain. During his youth the young guitarist was captivated by the wild sounds of rock."From my chilhood I always want to get into music"At the age of 18, Skylar Bane bought his first guitar, a copy of a Stratocaster, when his first chords and melodies grown in his own style.
"That's not the best guitar, but it does the work, whith that axe I learned to play everything"
Few months later, Skylar get his first guitar lessons in one of the most importants academies in Madrid.
"I started the lessons with a friend, but one year later I deceide leave the lessons and get self-taught, with few books and all the things that I learned from my guitar teacher I was ready to get deep in the guitar"
"I'm always try to learn anything that makes my work as guitarrist easy, and of course I pratice all days, is a work and you can do your work the best as possible"
In 2001, Skylar Bane meets with Izzy Sin and a few good friends and founded his first band where grown his own style.Their distinctive guitar sound have become a trademark in the field with Skylar melodic and wild style perfectly complementing Izzy Sin wild output.
"The first days are a chaos, a lot of ideas but I think the people are not the right people to work with us, after a lot of work and searching a lot of people we finally do a better work with our ideas"
In 2006, Skylar Bane and Izzy Sin creates "Evil Axis", an impressive band that combines, the wild sound of the classic heavy metal and the wild attitude of Hard Rock but focused in the new millenium.
"Evil Axis is a great project, when I knew Izzy, he tell to me that he want do a project of modern rock with the classic patterns...and that idea get's me mad, because I love the rock of the 80's"
Was in the end of 2007 when Carlos Marin and his wife Betty Pink meets with Skylar and Izzy and joined into the band forming the nucleus of "Evil Axis" which has remained intact until this day.
"Meeting Carlos and Betty was the best thing in this life, great people and of course great musicians, the best musicians to work together"
In the middle of 2008 Gianni Pandone joined to the band as lead singer, the man who gives the band the difference that are looking for.
Appart from the music Skylar is a lover of animals, cats, dogs, and all fuzzy creatures from this world.
"I love cats, If it was possible I'll have a million of them"
