I don't have a facialist. Or a stylist. Or a publicist. But I do have a colorist...that I love. The right words don't roll easily off my tongue, and my hair is rarely ever in place. I'm late for everything, and people think it's because I'm inconsiderate. But really, I'm just disorganized. I teach little girls how to dance because it makes me feel human. It's a gift that is reliable and lasting--something they'll have until they're 80. The most memorable gift you can give someone is a feeling. I'm highly emotional on the inside, but cool as a cucumber on the out. It can take a lifetime to sincerely earn my love and respect and less than five minutes to lose it. I always forgive, but rarely forget. I never want to forget anything. I work in a corporate world, but am terrible at it except when I try really hard, which is often. I think it's because I have a hard time thinking inside the box. I hate being detached. I think we should touch each other more when we are awake. I think we have plenty of time to sleep when we die. I spend my money because I'd rather be happy and full than rich and bored. I like having something to work toward. I trust people's eyes. I think there's a difference between loving someone and being in love with them. Just like I think you should love, but not be in love with, yourself. In both cases, when you're in love, there isn't room for anyone else. I know nothing about cars, drive with my windows down and my stereo up. My favorite sound is thunder, Mother Nature's bass. I enjoy the silence inside an empty church. I've got a tragic sweet tooth, but couldn't feel more alive than when I've run so far that my heart has almost stopped beating. I'm stronger and smarter than most give me credit for, and I'm a really great best friend because I really do care. A lot. I'm a better listener than speaker. When I'm quiet I absorb and when I'm speaking I'm rambling. Rambling. Rambling....
