My name is Paul. I'm 22 years old and going to school in Knoxville, TN. I'm working on getting a degree in media because I want to make movies. I've already recieved my associate in Graphic Design, so it's cool to be vaguely accredited as a real human being.
I'm a Christian, have been for nearly my entire life. Lately it seems the best way to get my attention is to be real. Like most of us, I'm pretty multi-faceted. For the most part I'm easy going and jovial. I get along with most everyone i run across, and love people in general. Lately though, I've found myself just thinking more and more. I love a good conversation. Getting to know someone, finding out what makes them tick. Figuring out who someone is is a simple pleasure no one really experiences anymore.
In my spare time I go through fits of creativity, sometimes painting, photography, photoshop... Writing is something I love and always do at least some amount of. I love playing with words... Finding out the origin of some, changing the pronounciation to make them more fun, accents and dialects, etc.
As I said, I like getting to know people, and along with that is trying to get to know how and why people work like they do. I love psychology, specifically applied psychology. It's odd... I both love and loathe modern marketing. While I hate what commercials and consumerism as a whole has done to us, America, and the world, at the same time, I can't help but long for the ability to create something that gets someone to think about it.
My real goal in life is to be a movie director. I want to create movies that make people think about their lives, their world, who God is... but without making "Christian movies".
