In the constantly boring days of the nearly non-existent town of Kellyville, Oklahoma, four kids decided it was time to get together to do what they love---rock out. In about October of 2005, Megan, Blake, Zach, and Justin started making their twisted, very different type of rock. Their band came to be known as the irony filled "Pessimists Last Hope" and their type of music can only be described as nothing else you've ever heard. Influences: Killswitch Engage, Metallica, Evanescence, Mudvayne, Nirvana, Static-X, Green Day, Disturbed, Seether, Kittie, Wicked Wisdom, Fear Factory, Ill Nino, Lamb of God just to name a FEW. If it's rock, it has probably influenced our band. We all have such different taste in music and for all of us to come together and throw our own styles into a giant melting pot is crazy, but that's what we do and the result is Pessimist's Last Hope. The types of musical influences are: Alternative, Punk, Screamo, Emo, Metal, Thrash Metal, Death Metal, Liquid Metal, Goth Metal, Grunge, and even R&B
