About Me

Sveinbjörn "Bjössi" Klütsch was born and raised in a musical family in Bamberg, Germany and is half icelandic. After having played the violin for over ten years, he switched his his instrument to guitar, which soon became his main focus. He was self-taught for the most part, until he received a scholarship to study at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where he graduated in 2005. At Berklee he majored in Guitar Performance and Contemporary Writing/Production and studied with Jon Finn, Tim Miller, Bruce Bartlett, Joe Stump, Bill Elliott, and many others. After graduating Berklee, he joined the alternative Rock band atris in January 2006 for a five month national tour. Thereafter he lived in Los Angeles for a while and took a course by film-composer Christopher Young (Spiderman3, The Shipping News, Ghostrider,...). Bjössi moved to Berlin in November 2007, and is now involved in several projects in different musical genres (jazz/fusion, acoustic pop, german rock, etc.) and teaching (also check www.Musicvirtuosity.com for webcam lessons) This profile was edited with The CricketSoda Myspace Editor
