Hello Everyone. My name is Cho Chang. Cho means autumn in Chinese, and unsuprisingly autumn is my favorite time of the year. I was born in 1979 in Rochestor which is very close to London. I grew up there with my current best friend Marietta. I got my letter of acceptance to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1990. I was sorted into the house of Ravenclaw. In my third year i became interested in quidditch. I became the Ravenclaw's team seeker. This is where i first met Harry Potter, during a match (Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw).
During my fourth year, Cedric Diggory asked me to the Yule Ball. We became a couple slightly afterwards. This was all during the Triwizard Tournament, by the way. My Cedric was our first Hogwarts represent. During the second task, i was chosen to be Cedrics hostage held underwater. Cedric saved me first, and was to be the first one allowed to go into the maze during the 3rd task. When the first task was over everyone saw Harry and Cedric come back, although Harry was crying over Cedric. It took me a minute to realize what had happened. Cedric was dead. I often felt very depressed through the next year, but this was when i became to come closer with Harry.
During my 5th year I joined the DA with Marietta. This is where Harry tought us extra lessons of Defense of the Dark Arts. I was quite terrible at the Expelliarmus but i was one of the quicker ones to learn the Patronous Charm. My patronous was the swan. Harry asked me to go to Hogsmeade with him on Valentines Day, which ended in a complete fiasco. Harry had to leave to meet Hermione Granger for an interview with Rita Skeeter, which made me utterly jealous. We parted on bad terms but made up after the interview in the Quibbler came out. That is, until Marietta betrayed the DA and told Umbridge about us. Then Harry and I got into a huge fight. Now we are made up and are still the best of friends, thankfully.
