Everyone that I can. I love to meet new people. It's after you know them for awhile that some of them they get annoying... lol
I like pretty much anything with a beat. Just running down the artists in my ipod you'll see: 50 Cent, AC/DC, All American Rejects, Black Eyed Peas, Bon Jovi, Bowling for Soup, Brooks & Dunn, Johnny Cash, Ciara, Mike Jones, Mettalica, Seether, Dave Matthews Band, Drowning Pool, Led Zeppelin, Korn, George Strait.... well you get the idea :-)
I don't really have a favorite genre or movie. I like comedys, action, sci-fi, dramas, even romantic comedys (as long as it isn't to freaking sappy). About the only ones I don't like are the bonafide chick flick tear jerkers... although I have suffered my way through a bunch of them. Right now my favorite movie has got to be Team America World Police, the unrated version of course :-)
TIVO is the greatest thing since sliced bread! If you don't have it, get it. Anyway, if there's an OU game or New Orleans Saints, or Atlanta Braves game on I'm gonna be watching that. Otherwise I like all the CSIs, except the NY one. I tried to get into it, but it kept putting me to sleep... I love the Family Guy and to a lesser extent American Dad. My guilty pleasure is Las Vegas. I know it's all glitter and no substance but I don't care... have you seen the chicks on that show?! :-) I like good sitcoms but there aren't very many on anymore at least other than the animated ones anyway. Not much of a reality TV fan, I'm trying not to jump on that band wagon but it's friggin taking over TV... Of course this is all before I got deployed in Feburary. I haven't watched a lick of TV since then. Guess I'll be buying a bunch of TV show DVDs when I get back home next year....
I don't read as much as I used to. The last book I read and enjoyed was the Divinci Code. I really liked it, of course I don't get worked up over the religious aspect of it. Conversely, I tried to get my mom to read it and she won't even touch it... Oh and you can laugh if you want, but I've read all the Harry Potter books. They're entertaining and anyone thinks that they're "just for kids" hasn't read them; especially the last couple....
