About Me

So...finally got my first job! I'm currently working in London City amongst some incredibly beautiful historical buildings and with a pretty good bunch of people. I'm loving it!

I love going to the movies on Orange Wednesdays and have found a fairly willing cinema buddy to join me. Favourites so far this year include Pan's Labyrinth, Apocolypto and Babel

I enjoy going to gigs when possible; within the last year, I went to see Aqualung, Xavier Rudd and Jose Gonzalez, Chili Peppers, Regina Spektor and Get Cape. Coming up are Ray Lamontagne, The Killers (thanks to a certain somebody for getting tickets), Damien Rice, Lily Allen and hopefully Regina Spektor (again).

I dislike daytime telly and people who lick their fingers before counting their money and doesn't reallise it's gross!

My favourite food will always be my grandma's shanghai wontons and my favourite colour is blue!

My recent holiday photos:

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Paris Hilton just to make my brother green.

Movies:

Absolute favourites are Matrix and LOTRs.

Other favs are Amelie, Garden State, Napolean Dynamite, Bridget Jones, Donnie Darko, Goodbye Lennon, Moulin Rouge, Crash, 21 Grams, Mystic River, Shawshank, Love Actually, Lion King, Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast...oh so many

Dislike war films and westerns. Allergic to B&Ws and would be impressed if anyone could convince me to sit through a whole one.

Love Mangas like Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle...

Would never watch, Clockwork Orange, Passion of Christ and Requiem for a Dream ever again.

Worst film I've ever seen is Ginger Snap. Don't try it.

Television:

Favourite programme is Neighbours for sure!! Who can beat that?

Seasonal telly programmes currently include: Will & Grace, Prison Break and Lost.

I also love QI when it's on...check it out http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/qi/clips/

Books:

There are so many!!! Most of which I haven't read for years but have left an impression on me...

Lord of the Rings, Knowledge of Angels, Phillips Pullman Trilogy...

The lastest feat was the Yes Man by Danny Wallace (the guy who hosts Schools Out on BBC1 on Wednesday nights). Really funny and definately recommend it (as it was recommended to me by Jordan). Yes from now on people!!

Heroes:

My mum without a doubt. Bringing up a brat like my brother has got to elevate her to saint status.
