How evil are you?Music, all kinds (except new country & show tunes), guitar, playing rock, going to rock shows, listening to my friends rock, baseball, the Seattle Mariners, Oakland A's, Seattle Seahawks, traveling near and far, taking pictures, shooting video, blackjack, craps, Vegas, Mexico, good tequila, even better times, making out, eating mangos, the warm sun on my skin, bugs with 4,6,8 or more legs, reading good novels, crappy magazines, cookin' up some damn fine vittles, family, friends, Buddhism & Eastern religion, people who raise my IQ by just being in their presence, thought provoking conversation, homecooked Southern food, anything SPICY, throwing weiner steamer parties, old fashioned glazed donuts, fast cars, faster women, horses, ancient civilizations and attempting to understand the mechanics of how all things work on a physical or metaphysical level.
There are alot of dead rockstars I'd of liked to hang out with, like Janis, Jimi, Marc Bolan, Bon Scott, John Lennon and Bonham, but oh well. The Dhali Lama is up there on the list, mebs Alejandro Jordowosky and David Lynch, but for real...I think people are interesting on so many different levels, so I'm down for any of you introducing yourself! Hot rock n roll guys, baseball players and cool independent women are my favorites, right behind the Double Double from Inn & Out Burger & of course, the steamed weiner!
I'm not fickle when it comes to heavy rock, but a few of my faves are Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, basically all classic metal and rock, Beatles, Cars, Dead Boys, Ramones, Black Flag, Zeke,Fu Manchu, 'bout just about all punk rock, Hank III, Nashville Pussy, Hives, Sonic Youth, Police, Eliot Smith, 70's disco when I'm drunk, PJ HARVEY, Opal, Sisters of Mercy, Afghan Whigs, Sub Pop classics, X, Pixies, Exotica, Beastie Boys, Crystal Method, Snoop, Dre, Public Enemy, SHUG, classic bluegrass, classic country, Hank Sr., Patsy, Johnny, Willie, if it's heavy, even WITHOUT distortion and sounds cool, I'll try it.
So many movies, but these I've enjoyed watching more than once...All Eon McKai flicks, All Ray Harryhausen stop-motion films, (Jason & the Argonauts & Clash of the Titans are my faves)Casino, Scarface, Godfather, The Departed, Seven, Natural Born Killers, Reservoir Dogs, Star Wars Trilogy, Pulp Fiction, Boogie Nights, River's Edge, Napolean Dynomite, Freddy Got Fingered, Santa Sangre, Fellini Satyricon, Motel Hell, The Ring, The Descent, Exorcist, The Omen, Wild at Heart, Silent Hill, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, Saturday Night Fever, Bull Durham, Casablanca, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Who's Afraid of Virgina Wolf and so many more...
Curb Your Enthusiasm, Sopranos, CSI Vegas, Seinfeld, ESPN, Friday Night Lights, Surreal Life, History & Discovery Channels, Project Runway, Rescue Me, Rome, 24, Top Chef, Ramsey's Nightmare Kitchens, The F Word, Entourage, MLB Extra Innings - American League, yo!
Love in the Time of Chollera, One Hundred Years of Solitude, The Stranger, Confederacy of Dunces, It (Yes, I'm afraid of clowns) Jubile Trail, All Twain, The Color Purple, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and all of the other novels you'd expect...I have a hard time remembering them all but I was my fifth grade book report champion, I will have you know...
Dhali Lama, my spiritual teachers Kehnchen Palden & Khenpo Tsewang, David Lynch, Robert Thurman, Joe DiMaggio, too many rock n' roll guitar players to name, but Page, Hendrix & Young are at the top, people throughout history who've used their powers for good instead of evil to make the world a better place, my grandparents and so many friends & family members, living and otherwise. Red wine, tequila and dolls, to help smooth out the rough spots in life.
