What up!... I'm Ash, I play drums and percussion. I was born and raised in SW London. First took a musical interest at the early age of 4 playing the violin, yes, the violin!, yeah! that's right!, ha.... but always had the knack for banging and hitting on anything around, pots, pans, walls, legs, tables, which in turn drove my family nuts man! I'm of Mauritian decent so always had music kickin around everywhere in tha house. Picked up drumsticks in my late teens and decided to teach myself drums and percussion, been playing ever since and never looked back. In mid 06, I graduated from the Tech music schools in London after studying there for a year. Whilst I have been learning and playing, I have had the pleasure of recording, jammin', vibin', playin and just hangin with numerous singers, songwriters, musicians, known & unknown playing everything and anything I can get, and hope to continue doing so. Just wanna have a good time n vibe with the all the other heads man. In my opinion, it's all bout having fun. Theres a great learning curve n all I wanna do is just play drums, love to lay the dirty groove and sit in that pocket baby! Well what else can I say.... thanks for lookin in an Thats ME PEOPLE!
