My Interests

I love to eat out, work out, travel, movies, go to museums, and music. I play the guitar and write my own songs. One crazy thing about writing your own songs is that they get stuck in your head. Sometimes I'll think, 'Gee, I wish the radio would play the song I have stuck in my head on the radio. Wait, that's MY song!' Traveling is most enjoyable activity for me and I'd love to meet someone who also likes to travel. One of these days I'd like to learn to kayak and snow ski. Eventually I'd love to learn how to sail...I think that would be beautiful. I'm also partial to playing some computer games ever now and then. I love History and Geography and documentaries are VERY entertaining for me. On vacations I always try to do something that's educational whether it's visiting a museum or a historical marker...something. I also love to go dancing, I've really gotten into Country dancing...the two-step is a blast!! By the way, I consider myself an atheist, but I also barrow alot from Buddhism--still working on the belief in reincarnation. I find shopping enjoyable and addictive...I'm all about the GAP.
You Are New York
Cosmopolitan and sophisticated, you enjoy the newest in food, art, and culture.
You also appreciate a good amount of grit - and very little shocks you.
You're competitive, driven, and very likely to succeed.

Famous people from New York: Sarah Michelle Gellar, Tupac Shakur, Woody Allen What American City Are You?

I'd like to meet:

I would love to make contacts here that would be good for my career. If there is anyone who has a small business and needs someone with an investments/sales background let me know--shameful self-promotion!! On the romantic side of things I would love to find someone who I could live my life with; someone who looks at things similarly to me...someone who isn't willing to settle, likes to travel, and easy to get along with. I know exactly what I want when it comes to Mr Right, and on myspace I am only able to summarize so please don't be intimidated and feel free to send me a message and get to know me. Almost everything that I say is pretty straight forward so you don't need to try to find any subtext. I am definitely not closed to new things, in fact I would love to generate new interests, goals, and activities with a special someone. So send me a message and tell me about yourself. :-)

Music:

Music that is meaningful and poignant appeals to me more than any other. Right now I've been listening to alot of Indie Rock. I also love music from the almost all decades, Dance music and Electronica, but honestly after listening to the same pulsating beats for the last 7 years have caused me to grow a little tired of it. Every now and then I'll hear a dance song that feels compeltely new and is so charismatic that it'll make me wanna dance.

Television:

I LOVE documentaries. PBS has the best documentaries. I'm a total dork at heart and I enjoy almost anything educational. No kidding, I have watched telecourses on cable for my own enjoyment. I also like Conan O'Brien and South Park. I hate to admit it because it's a gay stereotype, but I enjoy the show What Not to Wear and Project Runway. One kind of programming that I have never gotten into is sports--with the exception of the Olympics.

Books:

Do Atlases count?

Heroes:

Muhandas Ghandhi, Martin Luther King, all those young people who fought for the freedoms that we enjoy today, and Bono. I think it's important to recognize women too, Gloria Steinem and my mother are heroins of mine.
