My name is Brad and I am a Christian! I live in Ky. and am dating the most awesome girl in the world named Katie (no.1 on my friends list). Now as for what I believe... I believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living and Loving God, and that God has given us the greatest gift of all...eternal life through the death and ressurection of His only Son Jesus. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life." Christ lived a sinless and perfect life yet was nailed to a cross to take away our sins. He did not deserve it nor did He have to do it. He did this out of love. The story does not end there though, three days after His terrible death, Christ defeated death and rose again! He is alive and is sitting at the right hand of God waiting and longing for us to come to know Him. The punishment for our sins is eternal separation from God in Hell. We deserve the punishment that He took. Romans 3:23 says,"for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Romans 6:23 goes onto say that "...the wages of sin is death, BUT the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus out Lord." But because of His gift, we can have eternal life in Heaven.
