I have been singing since I was 5 years old. Growing up in a very small south central Kentucky town, I was hooked after singing "Jesus Loves Me" at my Kindgergarten graduation. I continued to sing at all my graduations (middle school and high school). The Miss America Scholarship Pageant became my platform to perform in front of large crowds when I was in Miss Kentucky 2000 and 2001. Moving to Nashville five years ago, I knew I wanted to be surrounded by songwriters and the country music industry. I absolutely love it and know more about country stars, the music they sing, they stories behind the songs, and music than the average person I think, since I'm a bit obsessed with it.
