I love sports . I like rugby but I like footy more at the moment.. and I play as much squash and tennis as I can fit in. Used to be well into extreme kinds of sports too like climbing and bmx. I still like going to clubs for bangin sets ...and living in Manchester is pretty handy for seeing gigs (seeing the pixies was a bit of a dream come true...they were alright too)...I couldn't imagine living anywhere else right now....Well except maybe Korea, or someting.
I've been wanting to be in a band again and I've missed it since playing with friends at school...I got side tracked with a pair of decks in the middle somewhere... and my uninspiring choice of University never helped my rock n roll career ladder.
They say Charlie Chaplin was a cool guy, and he could blow 9 small smoke rings through a one big one.I'd want to get battered with the Neil Armstrong and ask him what they really got up to back in the summer of '69...I wanna know. I see famous people all the time and the problem is I start to feel weird around them and I know I going to do or say something v. v. stupid...I saw Craig Charles once in the street and I shouted at him. I said/shouted something I like smeghead, and span off - its like celebrity tourette's - I'm not safe.....I'd like to meet the future mother of my kids (very fromage)(cheesy i dunt believe i wrote that).... Anyway check this...Mimi is nuts, Lance has one nut & and Wil is a nutter and I love him!?!!!!
I like music thats a bit different, edgy and on the pulse....Nirvana changed me...and bands like the Pixies, Pavement and Mr.Bungle I've never get tired off. I'm happy to listen to anything (but even some things John Peel used to play makes me feel weird, so not literally everything). I like a seriously diverse spectrum...and some things not to everyone's taste, but maybe not so different to most people's taste either? I like bollywood/asian and arabian music, the 80's, bluegrass, electro and tribal beats and squeaks etc etc.... I was into the grunge and Britpop thing and still get a kick out of the Manchester bands scene. John Peel on the radio was great...I like the show Zane Lowe does sometimes....Gilles Peterson is great sometimes too....Just blow my mind!
Payola on a Sunday afternoon with Guy Garevy is probably my favourite show though. [Xfm Manchester]

Add to My Profile | More Videos Always liked this video...I was going through a period of kleptomania in my life when I first saw this.
I love anything Bill Murray. I've got a thing for 'Escape from New York' and George Romero zombie flicks. The thing is I love film probably more than I love music and its hard to decide my favourites...I THINK I'm a bit of a film buff so I'm turning into a film snob tosser....the ones in my top ten aren't going to reflect that, which is good...
...in no real order.
Dr. Strangelove
The life of Brian
Dawn of the dead
Shaun of the dead
Lost in Translation
Pulp Fiction
MASH
Escape from New York
Ferris Buellers Day off
Ghost Busters
Used to be hooked on Quantum leap back in school...but they show it again on Sky and its not the same...just like the A-team isn't quite the same anymore (except Mr.T will always be amazing...rocky III is also an amazing film) . Nathan Barley was hilarious.....I get sucked into Lost but I'm still not sure what I really think of it...it pisses me off. I want hard hitting docu's and wildlife prog's. I dig Tekishi's Castle and re-runs of Bullseye and catchphrase.... and any 'police camera action' shows, UK, USA or Costa del Sol, all are SO rubbish and I cann't help watching them.....
Not a big reader....pretend to be. Do get into some from time to time and like to read classics and cult books. My bookshelf though is full of half read books which is a bit sad...Bought a load of books at the airport and I've read a total of 20 pages since I landed in Korea. I do like 1984, brave new world, catch 22, papillon, future shock, high fidelity, porno [as in Trainspotting 2(not that there's anything wrong with porn)], Charles Bukoski books are my favourite at the moment. I'm a bit a bit crap with book sadly.
Superman is a super hero. I got the twaty tattoo....didn't know I wasn't the first to think of the idea (The list of who else got one includes Jon Bon Twatty, the weridest weirdo on my course (he thought he was Jon Bon Jovi), and various muscle-mary's I've been unfortunate to meet in every single rugby team I've joined...what does that mean?fuck all). Anyway mine makes me laugh - and I have to pretend no one else has got one but me.
But really my hero's are the great Armstrongs (I'm waiting on that pint with Neil before I scratch him off the hero's list). Obviously my folks and brethren are first on this list.
