About Me

A city dwelling lover of urban living with my heart in the country - as long as I get my full-on dose of grimy london life followed by a shot of simple cow watching (oooh, it blinked!), all is good in the world! I make a mean mojito. I make a mean pancake. I mostly live on a combination of mojitos and pancakes... I think this is probably not the way forward.
Have come to the conclusion that life isn't really like a box of chocolates is it? It's more of waltz through a foreign deli at 3 in the morning when you've lost your passport and swopped your best friend for a donkey... but that's what makes it interesting.. and interesting is what it's all about.
So.. Here's the work stuff. Altogether now people... "Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got". (I always did want to be Norm).
I moved to London without a clue. I now have lots of disjointed clues that either slap me in the face or lie in wait under particularly well camouflaged rocks, I am hoping one day these clues will link up and lead me to the buried treasure. Whatever the buried treasure actually is. Maybe I've already found it...??
(What a cool thought).
I'm passionate about, and practised in, event organising (particularly the press and promotional side of things), creative writing, and photography. My camera is as old as my dog, Molly, (she's about 43700 million in dog years) and twice as grumpy, but takes photos like a lotus handles corners... all be it a very old lotus with a bad paint job and dodgy suspension...
I worked for several magazines whilst at Uni in Cardiff and am busy transfering, and building upon, these experiences and skills in London. I am the co-founder of Emergency Breaks (check out the myspace link below to see what it's all about and get involved... you wont be disappointed). Currently working in the music industry but on the wrong side of the lens, so to speak... But the fortune teller in Tooting Broadway told me it's all gonna be ok... PHEW!
