I'm kind sweet loving caring..i'm a single mom, with expectations of becoming one of the most determining self made business woman in America...not only will i do that but also help others to do the same or encourage them to do better in ones life...*$uper$tar* Rising to the Top!!! www.myspace.com/yotashiakabeautifultoshiNot everyone can live up to the name $uper$tar, however Guyanese born Yonette sure comes close. The last of four kids, this mother of one not only handles the family, but she also juggles many different titles. $uper$tar has been in the United States for twenty years and like most of us growing up she had many hard trials and tribulations. "Because I was blessed at all times, I went from negative to positive" says $uper$tar. In life when we are blessed and our hearts are clean, we can make it through just about anything, so she is right about that.$uper$tar started her music career while hanging around other musicians as a teenager. But not until she met Kwame Miller from The Reggae Source magazine did she get the name $uper$tar. When asked who are her influences in life, she replied "God and my son", enough said. $uper$tar performs various genres of music such as reggae, pop, rock and jazz. She has obtained a lot of knowledge and experience from the various people she has encounter throughout her life because of her eagerness to always learn. $uper$tar not only performs music but she is also an actress, dancer director and producer. She has her own business called Little Ones Management, which is an agency that manages kids in the entertainment business. She is currently managing her son who is an upcoming actor. There is also a masseuse business in the works. $uper$tar is not only a musician and business woman, she is also a community activist by being apart of the Neighborhood Advisory Committee board. The N.A.C. board basically fights for the rights of the community in all aspects. When she is not doing a show, running her business or making changes in her community, $uper$tar is spending all her free time with her 6 year old son, whom she cherishes more than life itself. It is plain to see that Yotashi is a well rounded individual. When asked what her mission in lifewas "change the world from negative to positive" $uper$tar replied. There is no doubt, with her strong personality, perfectionist ways and extraordinary business mind $uper$tar will exceed in whatever she sets out to do in life.

Culture of GuyanaGuyana, along with Suriname, French Guiana, and Brazil, is one of the four non-Hispanic nations in South America. Guyana's culture is very similar to that of the English-speaking Caribbean, to the extent that Guyana is included and accepted as a Caribbean nation and is a founder member of the Caricom (Caribbean Community) economic bloc and also the home of the Bloc's Headquarters, the CARICOM Secretariat. Its geographical location, its sparsely populated rain forest regions, and its substantial Amerindian population differentiate it from English-speaking Caribbean countries. Its blend of Indo-Guyanese (East Indian) and Afro-Guyanese (African) cultures gives it similarities to Trinidad and distinguishes it from other parts of the Americas. Guyana shares similar interests with the islands in the West Indies, such as food, festive events, music, sports, etc. Guyana plays international cricket as a part of the West Indies cricket team, and the Guyana team plays first class cricket against other nations of the Caribbean. In addition to its CARICOM membership, Guyana is a member of CONCACAF, the international football federation for North and Central America and the Caribbean. Another aspect of Guyanese culture is its rich folklore about Jumbees.
Brief HistoryDutch and British colonisation made an indelible mark on Guyana, leaving behind a now dilapidated colonial capital, a volatile mix of peoples and a curious political geography. The country's natural attractions, however, are impressive, unspoiled and on a scale that dwarfs human endeavour.Guyana, is a country of exceptional natural beauty, is a splendid combination of the Caribbean and South America, with fascinating touches of a sometimes turbulent past. Perched on the north-east corner of the South American continent, Guyana stretches 450 miles from its long Atlantic coastline into dense equatorial forest and the broad savannah of the Rupununi. The picturesque capital and primary port is Georgetown, a city of comfortable, modern hotels, fine colonial buildings, and broad, tree-lined boulevards. The striking wooden architecture is reminiscent of Guyana's centuries as a Dutch, and then a British colony. Georgetown offers an evocative introduction to the land of Guyana. Don't miss the imposing St. George's Cathedral, reputed to be the tallest wooden building in the world.
