I'm Jréh de Stijl. Pronounce it right or don't say my name at all, it is "Jray Deh styl".
I was born John Ross Eric Hewitt the fifth and lived in Boston, USA till I was 6. Now I live in Melbourne, AUS and love it. I plan to tour Europe and eventually settle down over seas. Cate speaks French so I'll probably be in Paris or Rennes or a city like that by 2012 (got to finish Uni first).
I love wearing clothes that catch attention. Every now and then I get photographed by street fashion magazines and even tourists, I enjoy it. I smile awkwardly around Cate, she is my beautiful Girl Friend.
I founded Cocaine Clothing Co. and because no two pieces of clothing are the same, like a painting, I prefer the term Fashion Artist. I am also editor of the wonderful Stijl Magazine.
I adore FASHION, ART and MUSIC. I love Cate O'Neill. I paint and do a little photography and sculpture too, just because i love it.
I enjoy going out to galleries, cafés, bars and clubs because Melbourne is the best city in Australia for anything cultural.
I am a multi instrumentalist for a four piece experimental/industrial/ambient/sound scape/progressive/Rock band. when playing live i play Guitar and Back up vocals for the band. I also have a DJ side project rather like Daft Punk sound, named Vinyl Locker.
I play many instruments, Drums, Guitar, Piano, clarinet, Sing, Bass, recorder, DJ mixer.
You all know my favorite music is anything and everything, but if I had to pick I’d say (in no order), Jazz, Experimental, Punk, industrial, classical, folk, rock, Hardcore, Dance, anything truly alternative.
My love for all types of music reflects my love for all life.
