DJ Snypa

Started DJ’ing in 1986 after going to UK Fresh 86’ at Wembley stadium where I watched DJ Cheese, Jazzy Jeff, Grandmaster Flash etc... on the decks. In 1989 alongisde MC Bandog (Hundreth Monkey) and DJ Geta (Hook and Sling Breakbeat Crew)formed the UK Hip Hop crew “Killa Instinct”and in 1990 our first recording “Bambi Murders” was signed up by Simon Harris of Music of Life Records, London as our first official release on a major UK Hip Hop Label. We went on to release 4 EP’s between 1990 and 1993, with 2 No1 singles on the Kiss 100Fm Hip Hop chart on Sunday’s with Richie Rich and Max LX and Davy J. We toured the UK and Europe alongside the likes of, Hijack, Silver Bullet, Blade, Gunshot, Hardnoise, Brotherhood and ReadyKill (Gmbh). In 1994 we were signed to M.O.V.E Records Germany at which point I left the group to pursue my career in Dj’ing. From 1994 I played a mixture of House, Trance, Hard House, Hardcore and Drum & Bass securing residencies at the House of Windsor, Mirage, Back 2 Reality, B.O.L.D, Mas-Y-Mas, Evolution etc….
