I am from Sarasota, Florida, a beautiful beachside town on the west coast. I'm in college at Warner Southern, a small, private Christian school in Lake Wales, FL. I'm majoring in Elementary Education, but have spent much time thinking about a career in the field of psychology and counseling. I'm the oldest of four children, I have a brother and two sisters. My parents are two of my best friends, and I am so thankful for the close relationship I have with them. I am very independent, but also love to be in the company of my closest family and friends. Some of my most favorite things are singing, traveling, shopping, reading good books, going to church, good conversation, children, roses, the wintertime and snow, taking pictures, playing frisbee, mountains, chocolate, and going to the beach. I am a thinker, it seems like my mind never stops. I think it's fair for me to admit that I have a tendency to over-analyze certain things/situations sometimes. One of the most important things in my life is that I'm a Christian. I believe in a God who sent His only Son to die on the cross for my sin and yours. I've learned that it means nothing to just call yourself a Christian, but that it means everything to live out the higher standard we're called to as Christians. I know that I will never be perfect because it will never be possible, but I believe that God wants my best, and He deserves it. After college, I hope to move out of Florida.
