HI, my name is Quan Howell.I was born and raised in Columbus,Ohio and I'm still here.Well the truth is I have move twice in my life.The first time was to L.A. to get started in the music business and the second time was to Minneapolis where I spent 5 yrs recording with The Grammy Award Winning "Sounds of Blackness".The move opened many doors.I was blessed and honored to work with producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis which landed me on tons of projects like:Salt -n- Pepa;Rod Stewart;The Sound track for "How Stella Got Her Groove Back" and many other great projects.The world was exposed to my talents with the release of "Hold on Change Is Comin" featuring The late Roger Troutman, but that was just the begining, with each new day it brought more excitment.The Sounds of Blackness appeared on several t.v. shows with the new hit song such as:Soul Train;Crock and Chase;Vibe;The Late Show with Jay Leno(I hope that spelled correct) and many other.This all cause me to be very grateful.There's so much the Sounds has done it would take a while to tell so I will move on.My other love is musicals and theather.The Queen of Inspirational Songs"Ann Nesby" helped connect me with now multi-millionaire Tyler Perry to play in his first stage play "I know I've Been Changed".This was another door opened to then work with the Godfather of black plays....Michael Matthews in Suagr Daddy and LIsten to your Women.The last play I did with Tyler Perry was"Madea's Family Reunion".Believe it or not I played the preacher, but thanks to God since then I have lost 75lbs.I also have done background work for BeBe Winans, Rod Stewart, Ann Nesby, LaShun Pace-Holmes, Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvitt and may more.Currently I am the praise leader for my church New Covenant Believers' Church and run a successful production company "Howell and Fisher Production".Well that all folks....did I tell you I was SAVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,
