My interests vary from day to day, but here are a few: I like mid-century/ Scandinavian furniture, pedicures, cream sauces, porches with fans, Abraham Lincoln and JW Booth, tofu hot dogs, and birthday presents year round. I love to cook, track cat 5 hurricanes, plant pretty flowers in my yard, ride my big-girl bike, read hardback books, do pilates, go to the farmer's market, watch NOLA get back on its feet, drink Pinotage with Andrew, watch movies from Net Flix, try new restaurants, buy shoes, browse Architectural Digest and Wallpaper* Magazine for interior design inspiration, opening the windows while I cook a steamy meal and sleep in late on Sundays.

The obligatory Mom and Dad, along with Colleen and Jack. Strong-minded, 19th century, female activists like Sarah Grimke, Margaret Fuller, and Louisa McCord. Jane Goodall and Margaret Mead for their amazing work in cultural anthropology and environmental studies. Architects/ Designers Frank Gehry, Philip Johnson and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for being really cool makers of really cool things. Oh, and my partner in crime, Andrew!
