I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

First of all thanks for checking out my MySpace page. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and am currently living in Boston where I am playing in the new Women's Professional League. I love playing competitive soccer every weekend and am really enjoying my new city. The fan support has been amazing and we haven't been beaten at home! When I am not with the Boston Breaker's, I am most likely playing outside back for the US Women's Soccer Team. Soccer is my love, my passion, my life...I played a ton of sports growing up and was hoping to get a scholarship. I went to UF, had a decent career but upon graduation thought that was all she wrote til the WUSA began. I lucked out on the timing of it all and ended up in one of the best cities ever to play sports, Philadelphia. Played 3 seasons there and was given an opportunity with the US Team.Next thing I knew we were winning a Gold Medal in 2004 and was looking forward to my first World Cup til I tore my ACL. Everything happens for a reason and after a long, hard road back I was able to start and win a second Olympic Gold. The way we won and the contribution of all 17 of my amazing teammates made it one of the best experiences of my life.I have been fortunate enough to have gained some TV experience which I would love to concentrate on once soccer is over. Under Armour is my sponsor and as you can see in the commercials below, they have been very good to me! Thanks for checking out my page.

Back with team USA

Hi Everyone. This past weekend vs DC was a disappointing result for us because I feel we were the better team. We tied 1-1. Although it isn't a loss, it isn't 3 points either when we need to keep up w...

Sunday's game at Harvard and Fox Soccer Channel

Hi Everyone! So we traveled to LA Friday. I lived in Hermosa up until October so it was nice to be back in my old stomping ground. We practiced in the afternoon, then I was able to catch up with my ol...

Much needed win

So last weekends embarrassing loss might have been the wake-up call our team needed. This week we were put through the grinder and we made some lineup adjustments which worked out well. LA came to us ...

Looking for road win #2 this weekend in Chicago

This league has so much parity and it makes every game a battle til the end. It is difficult to prepare for our first game against any opponent when we don't know what to expect. I think it is safe to...

First home game @ Harvard this Saturday at 7pm

So the first game of the season didn't go as planned. I am not going to make too many excuses but I think I can speak for everyone, except Kelly Smith, by saying we played awful. We weren't organized,...

Beantown and some....

Can I just say, upon arriving in 30 degree weather, I wasn't sure how I would survive but that notion is long gone. I love this city! I have been here a few times to play in the WUSA days and always h...

Bittersweet 100th

Like I have said before, everything happens for a reason. I celebrated my 100th game with the US Team Wednesday in the finals vs Sweden. We ended up tying the game in the 90th minute after a less than...

Finals tomorrow vs Sweden

Hi Everyone. So we already knew we were onto the finals but Norway gave us a good match. Rachel Buehler stepped in for an injured Lori Chalupney and played amazing. She is my hero when it comes to hea...

Denmark and Iceland down, Norway next

Hi Everyone. It was a rainy, windy day in Lagos but that didn't deter us from orchestrating 2 goals against Denmark. Its a new year and a fresh look. Shannon Boxx has moved back to center back, Carli...
