About Me

Twisted Noise Promotions along with Twisted-Noise is the brain child of Missy. TNP love pounding drums, grinding guitars and mosh pits! We support unsigned Metal/Goth/Rock/Punk acts as well as newly signed bands within the afore mentioned genres. We feature bands in our webzine, help with promotion, and are also looking to book venues for either our own gigs or for touring bands looking for venues to play at.
TNP stay away from Indie, requests from Indie bands will be denied.
Mainly looking for UK talent.
We launched our own webzine in July 2007 called 'Twisted-Noise' which feature's unsigned and newly signed UK bands, guest columnist's, band updates, gig reviews, a gig list, Forums for fans and bands, a chat room and finally our Indie Backlash Campaign. The Webzine is currently down and will be re-designed and available soon. In the mean time you will be able to read interviews with bands that have been featured in Twisted-Noise in our blog section.

I've taken a 5 minute break from my 6 months hiatus from TNP to wish you all Happy Holidays and to announce Twisted-Noise Promotions Best Unsigned Band of 2008.
SEDULUS have been crowned Twisted-Noise Promotions Best Unsigned Band of 2008. The reason they actually won is simple - Its down to their hard work of promoting themselves as well as playing in and around London whilst working on their next album and their sheer determination and dedication to their music. These guys have really grown into their own this year and its the best thing that can happen in a band and to witness that happening is amazing. The proof is in the demo 'Marmalade or Jam' and for those of you who have had the pleasure of owning or hearing their previous material from albums 'Dogfight' and 'The Mudbug EP' will agree with me. If that demo is a taste of whats to come on the next album then we wait in anticipation for the finished article, which is probably going to be beyond anyone's expectations for the band. So congratulations guys on doing so well this year and we wish you all the best for 2009 and hope to continue supporting and working with you.
2008 has been a busy year for Twisted-Noise Promotions and its been through quite a few changes and had its fair share of problems but through the trials and tribulations the highlight's of 2008 have been the many bands that TNP has had the pleasure of meeting, watching, interviewing and supporting. Twisted-Noise Promotions has watched some bands rise like phoenix' from their ashes to come back stronger and watched others disperse and move into other areas of the music industry either behind the scenes or go on to become promoters themselves and even become grounded family members.
2009 is going to be another interesting and exciting year for Twisted-Noise Promotions. We hope to bring you exclusive interviews with newly signed and unsigned bands such as Sedulus, Nanahara Smile, Vampyre Heart, Lily Gun, Serotone, Sea On Fire and bands from Europe such as Lonely Kamel and LID who are from Vancouver. They'll be more pics of various bands, updates with The Pseudo Philosophers, When Gravity Fails, Of The I and Memory Fade regarding their new albums and hopefully our very first promo night in late April or early May 2009.
Twisted-Noise Promotions would like to thank and wish all the best to: The Pseudo Philosophers, Nanahara Smile (Rich), Sedulus, Memory Fade, Iain, Vampyre Heart, Summer, When Gravity Fails, Ivan, Serotone (Eck), Sea On Fire, Of The I, LID, Lonely Kamel, Outshine, Guarro and anyone else who has supported Twisted-Noise Promotions. We hope to continue supporting and working with you in 2009.

Sedulus clearly rocked Storm on 4/9/08, they put on their strongest performance to date and I was glad to be there to experience their live splendour and take a few of my own pix. Here's a raving review of Sedulus at Storm by Rockers Digest to prove it:
Sedulus, 4 September 2008 Storm, Leicester Square, London
Leicester Square nightclub Storm is not the type of place you would usually find RockersDigest hanging out, but neatly using the venue before the hordes of clubbers arrive, it is the current home of The Talent Scout's showcase for unsigned and upcoming artists.
First up tonight was London based stoner doomsters Sedulus. Opener Dogfight clearly set out the band's stall, carrying Sabbath heavy riffs which crashed down into a tripped out low end groove. Frontman Will Wichanski's vocal was perfectly suited to ride on top of those gargantuan riffs, falling somewhere between the shoutier nature of Helmet's Page Hamilton and the (slightly) more melodic Ben Ward of Orange Goblin.
Guitarist Richard Williams and Amit Patel looked half stoned, but more likely absorbed as their heads lulled around during a new song, which Wichanski couldn't remember the name of. Actually on asking him his title afterwards he told us we could call it what we like and Johan opted for Pink Elephant.
Sedulus set list: Dogfight / 0530 / New Song / Breaking Point

The Pseudo Philosophers update:
It's been some time since we announced that our new debut album was coming...
We can now announce that the drum tracks have been finished for all songs on the album! Which means Andy has been drumming his socks off...and more importantly, we'll have more updates and news about the album from now on!
It also means that clips from the album; along with new photographs, will be coming to you on our new site and our MySpace page in the coming months.
Many thanks for your support and we hope to see you at our upcoming live dates, where we'll be playing some new songs from the album and revealing our two new members!

I can't contain my excitement as my favourite band The Pseudo philosophers are back with two new faces!
The first is the devilish Richard who has taken the place of bassist Sam who said farewell at the break of 2008. The second is a new female vocalist all the way from America.
The Pseudo Philosophers will be making their first 2008 appearance with the two new Pseudo's and debuting new material from their forth coming album on 19th September at The Fiddlers Elbow.
More info on the gig and other band appearances will be made available soon.
21/7/08
The exclusive 'Of The I' interview has now been posted to the TNP blog section. The band are also our new unsigned act of 2008 as well as our unsigned band of the year.

Nanahara Smile formerly known as ThreeMileIsland have been busy for the past 3/4 months working on new material for their album 'Dark in the Current Climate'.
Rich, Nanahara Smiles bassist says:
'The new material is far more complex - still aggressive and fast paced but a lot more technical, it's also a lot more melodic due to Yiaggi's vocal style (it's gonna be a shock for people who haven't seen us live since Tony left, as Yiaggi and Matt; our second guitarist, haven't been on a recording yet) so we fully expect to surprise a few people!'
The band will be performing their debut show in the next couple of weeks and have confirmed a support slot for 'No Made Sense' (Basick Records) for september. The band will be coming up to London later in the year.
4/6/08
