UK, met during Spiders N Clichés' youth summer course in 'O3 Sharing me
same respect for the great Tupac Shakur, they connected and soon later
found that their similarities outweighed their differences. They began to
develop their artistry through the mentoring of shortMAN (OnRoom), Sean
Graham [Spiders 'N' Clichés), Tony Cealy (Noh Budget Films) and Lyrical
Healer (The Healing Factory) who in turn inspired them to think outside of
the box and express themselves creatively and constructively. Within the 12
week duration of the project, LITTLEman & EDGE had many assignments to
complete. These assignments inspired much written material, one of which
being the well known crowd pleaser 'Contradictions part 1'.Whenever LfTTLEman & EDGE write and fuse their material together they
produce magic! They have had their material recorded for the BBC Radio 4
Bespoken Word Series and their lyrics effortlessly combine with little or no
change, edit or amendment required. As if to respect and acknowledgment
spirit as the driving force behind their formula, they never write under the
same roof but allow their written material to freely combine and merge
together.LITTLEman & EDGE, also creative writing workshop facilitators and
V.O.I.C.Express resident poets first performed al the Coronet in Elephant &
Castle, where they delivered the awe-inspiring and impressive
Contradictions part 1. Their performance was very well received throughout
and ended in loud applause with tremendous feedback. They have since
performed at the Magic Eye Theatre Peckham, Lounge Bar Brixton, Dog Star
Brixton, Brixton Academy and Hackney Empire, Borders Bookstore Angel, Stratford Theatre where they became Word Up Slam Grand Champions, Cube Bar, Bar Latina and many other well known venues in and around London. To add their achievements they have also written and had their own book published suitably titled Dont Judge A Book By Its Cover.LITTLEman & EDGE offer a creative and diverse spin to each of their
performances promising punch lines, pinpoint delivery, youthful yet
intellectual wit, confident stage presence and a burs' or African, Caribbean
and Asian combination.
