about me...i grew up in port huron, michigan in a family of four (me, my older sis, my dad, and my mom). with each day i'm learning to love and appreciate my family more. over the past 6 years since i came out to them, we've developed a wonderful relationship. i'm lucky, i know. many of my gay friends haven't been as fortunate to have a family as supportive but they have been right there beside me all the way!i've played sports all my life. in high school i was all about basketball, volleyball, and softball. but i also like to play tennis and i do a lot of running.i LOVE LOVE LOVE traveling! i was a summer foreign exchange student in finland back in the day, and i've been to sweden, ghana, bahamas, hong kong, taught in shenzhen china,oh and i'm a canadian at heart aye ;) i've also been to a lot of amazing places around the u.s.my main goal in life is to create a positive lasting impact in the lives of others, specifically those in need. i earned my b.a. in economic development but was accepted into an amazing organization called teach for america which works in low income communities in hopes of closing the achievement gap. i now teach 2nd grade on the northeast side of vegas and am currently working towards a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. during my summers i'm planning on doing relief work abroad.things that i like:really good slam POETRY. SHAKING WHAT MY MAMMA GAVE ME! CREATIVE people w/a good sense of HUMOR. hot women belly DANCING. laying on a warm BEACH on a sunny day. singing in my car! good MOVIES. rElaXiNg. candle lit baths. GOOD MUSIC. TRAVELING to new places. experiencing NEW CULTURES and ideas. coldstone ICE CREAM. waking up in the morning and feeling mysteriously thinner. sleeping. time to do NOTHING. checking things off of my to do lists. ORGANIC foods & hemp cereal. coming home to a clean place
