Born in Ponta Delgada, S.Miguel, Azores, Pedro at an early age actually started musically first as a guitar player for a garage band. He shifted to the drums soon after, honing his skills until 1992, when he began playing the drums in a band called "Morbid Death." Here, he recorded his first album entitled "Echoes of Solitude." This led him to playing with big names from the Portuguese music scene at the "Mare de Agosto Festival" in 1994. That same year, he lends his services to bands such as "Yellow Stone" & "Zas-Tras Band." 1995 brought about the start of his Jazz studies, allowing him to join the notable jazz band "Quarta Essencia." It was less than a year later when he wins the "Most Popular Drummer" trophy, handed out by one of the most respected music magazines in all of Portugal. That same year, he plays & tours most of main-land Portugal, including a performance at the highly regarded "Johnny Guitar." Upon moving to Canada in 1997 to try and improve his technique and add more experience to his resume, he begins his studies at the "Royal Conservatory of Music." Toiling through various musical outfits, he alas meets Reno in 2001, which has now led him to be a fixture in the band. With the arrival of 2008 also came the new goals and projects for this talented drummer, in January 08 Pedro leaves Reno to persuit other goals in music, such as more studio work, continue his jazz studies and being an independent drummer in the Toronto music Scene.
