The Displeased was formed back in the winter of 2001, by original drummer D-bo Mohican, and Frontman Sylvester Eugene.After being fed up for many months with the dead punk scene the Displeased was born to take back what the streets had seemed to have lost.
The Displeased came out fighting very hard from day one,with songs from the first album"A Nine Month Media Blackout" a record with such songs as "Fucked Up! Nation","The Rejected" and "Outta Time" just to name a few.The album was all bout getting drunk,spiky hair,the lose of friends and street life.
The Displeased line-up has changed many time over the past years,but the band would continue on.The line-up now consist's of Sly Eugene,T-Money,Chuck(from the D.I.C.K.S), and Kelly(originally from D.I.M.).With the release of the second album"5 Bux for This?!".Witch was a split album with good friends the Medicores(R.I.P).This album was all about friendship plain and simple with catchy sing along chorus's and meaningful verses.
This band has always done things with a different twist bringing a sound of the streets back to there hometown of Marion In.
The third album "Frustrated Control" was a record that had it all fast teeth grinding anthems and a political end, this record was a way for us to say just what we wanted to say.
The Displeased has always had the style "down but not out"Just when you think were gone were still right there in your fuckin face.This band has always and always will be our salvation our own personal release.
The Displeased would just like to say thanx to all the kids who have made us what we are today.Also a huge thanx to the bands we have sharred stages with,and drank beer with.
