The Hot Glue Factory started out at a hot glue factory. Chris and Natasha instantly knew upon meeting that they were destined for something more. Practising in basements, bedrooms and street corners, they were inspired by all the trouble that seemed to always surround, endanger and protect them from the boredom of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The samples came to them in waves on Chris's answering machine, probably meant for some other Chris. The Hot Glue Factory's first show was well-received, though they had only one song: I'll Sleep When I'm Tired. Each show after added another song until they had five, with corresponding video. The last show was in a closet near the UICA stage with a live-feed projected onto the movie-screen (an answer to their issues with stage fright), opening for Oni Gosen and Wolf Eyes. Chris and Natasha are currently working on seperate projects, but say that they still have hope for a revival.
