I studied various subjects in the field of audio visual technologies over the period of five years. These included photography, sound production, filming techniques, non-linear editing and directing. During my studies I gained practical experience shooting news articles for the local broadcaster. I progressed to more advanced projects such as studio shows, live sports broadcasting, corporate videos, commercials, interviews, documentaries and reality TV. This broad field of experience has given me the opportunity to work with the most cutting edge professional camera systems in today..s industry.
I have been based in London for the past three years. During this time I have worked on a variety of different projects. These have included National Geographic TV, Tesco, Television Par Satelite (France) as well as new media projects for mobile content integration. Career highlights include working on the past three seasons of CBS prime time reality TV show ..Survivor..(seasons 11, 12, 13) working in such locations as Guatamala, Panama and the Cook Islands. During the show I built up valuable experience working under extreme circumstances posed by the jungle and monsoon rain seasons. I also got the opportunity to use underwater camera housings, infra-red camera/lights and the latest technology.
Other works include Humildad, a documentary about the lifestyle of an nonagenarian woman which won the documentary award at the Torreblanca Film Festival
I am capable of providing support in any type of camera format, such as hi-def, digi beta, DVcam and HDV in a single or multi camera configuration. I am also more than willing to travel to any location across the globe.
