I'm not "cool", I don't skateboard (yet), I don't usually fit in, I don't show my feelings well, I'm not really entertaining, I'm not desirable or attractive, I'm pretty quiet, I'm not the one that girls normally choose, and I say dumb things a lot. I'm pretty frustrating to people sometimes, and I don't usually know why. I guess I just need things spelled out for me. I guess that's just me.... I prefer the truth over comfortable lies. I used to wear my heart on my sleeve and my mind under layers of clothes, but I'm working on changing that up because of recent experiences. I will never be hurt this easy again. I regularly get let down by people I trust, but it doesn't mean I stop. I know everyone makes mistakes, and I am a firm believer that everyone needs more than a few chances. I know that love is not always optional, but I also know it's a labor, and it can die if you don't work at it. If I say that I like you, I mean it. It takes me a lot to say it, so no matter how I can act sometimes, I mean it. I also know it's not healthy to keep chasing the wind, so I won't do it. I have to remind myself of that constantly. Even though I believe in more than one chance, I hate it when people date people who don't even care about them. It's like, "Can't you see how much they don't care?! What are you doing!?". That goes along with my hatred of people taking things and other people for granted. Sometimes I feel like I'm not good enough for anyone, but I'm getting over that. I'm rarely good enough for myself though, and that's a good thing because it makes me want to be better. I'm not usually pessimistic, though some people will say I am. I'm not a pessimist or an optimist. I am a realist.
Chances are, my profile songs and videos mean something to me either by the mood, a portion of the lyrics, or in some other way. It's a good way to tell my mood. Sometimes I just like them though.
Lately I've realized something. I grew up in the church. As a Christian. I never had a moment of epiphany saying, "I need to change my ways!", or had any life-changing event rise out of it, simply because my family has strong morals and good values, and that's how I was raised. Up until now though, I was pretty much a "Sunday Christian". On Sundays, God mattered, the Bible mattered, and Jesus was the center of my life. For the rest of the week, it basically took a backseat. For the past few months, it seems like every time I go to church, or youth group, or read the Bible, God has something new to say to me that directly applies to my life. Coincidence? I think not! I feel like such a hypocrite...I wasn't a terrible person, I mean, most people tell me I'm very polite, and that I'm a "good kid"...but I just didn't live out the love of God and Christ the way a true Christian should. Things are different now. I feel compelled to show (as much as I mortally can) God's love to the world, and I want to live my life the way I should. If you have any questions to ask me, go ahead. I will do my job as a Christian, which is to spread the word. The truth. The life. It makes me sad that so many people are looking for hope and love in all the wrong places. Jesus saves, heals, and changes. I know my "About Me" is serious and stuff, but I'm actually a pretty easy-going person, and I'm not gonna randomly start preaching to every person I meet. I know that doesn't help anyone xD

Adrienne: Adge, you're one of the most amazing people in my life. We've been friends forever, and nothing will ever change that. I can't remember a time I've been down, and you've not helped in some way, and I hope I can do the same for you. I know I can honestly talk to you about a lot of things. Just promise me you'll keep in mind the fact that you're amazing.
Andrew: Without you, my days would be dull. When I'm hanging out with you, I tend to forget most of my problems and just have fun. I'm also really proud of you for some of the decisions you've made this year.
Melissa: You've helped me through some things this year that I doubt I would've gotten over if it wasn't for you. I'm just sorry I couldn't have been better to you at times. I know we will always be good friends though, and I know you're always someone I can talk to. Thanks.
Amber: You're seriously awesome. I don't even really know you well, but I can just tell you're rad. Quit letting other people get you down, because you're amazing! You make me really happy whenever I talk to you =D
