Dancing Flamenco. It is my passion! Afro-Cuban dance is also wonderful, making art (any way I can!), taking pictures, being with good friends, spending time with David, listening to great live music, swimming in the ocean, sitting by the river, sailing, fishing, going to museums (the Smithsonian), The Folk Life Festival, helping, traveling, celebrating life.......There are many things to look forward to. Traveling. Most recent interest: learning more about my Andean (specifically indiginous) roots, learning Runa Ximi or "people's language" which as named Quechua/Kichwa/Kechwa/Inka(etc) by the Spanish. Joining organizations to fight the genocide in Darfur as well as bringing public awareness of the desicration of Indigenous cultures around the world by Western society.
I'm blessed to have a wonderful group of friends and family; I couldn't ask for anything more. However, I am interested in meeting anyone in my path. I believe that we can learn lessons from everyone we encounter. Goodness knows I've learned a lot from those already in my life. Thanks!WHO I DON'T WANT TO MEET: Pretentious people aka art snobs. You know, name dropping people who hang out at art openings with their nose in the air who wear designer clothes and shun anyone who is not in their inner circle and who call themselves artists. Anyone who believes the world owes them something and acts like it.
