S Dryden (Electrogroove Records)

Stewart Dryden is a 25 yr old dance music producer/dj from Northumberland.He has been producing for about 3years and been djing all over the northeast for 8 years .He has just signed a 1 year contract with USA based label ELECTROGROOVE RECORDS to have his brand of trance and techno ditributed to the world through BEATPORT amoung other's coming in near future. After becoming a proud father of his excellent brilliant first daughter (Kelsea 23 months) he took a side step out of the lime light and took time out of the dj circut to establish his family and domestic life while concentratring on developing his own trance sound, song writing and production. Being a inbuilt performer from a musical up bringing he has notched up over 7 years deck experiance and has been making waves ever since he moved out the bedroom .Being a mulit fascited DJ he has a deep understanding what makes a crowd tick and can cater accordingly creating just the right atmoshphere for the event at hand and has varied experiance in ;live recording/mixing and editing,digital recording mastering and sequencing,music production and live performance.He is musically literate and has completed training in music technology.
During his time as a dj, his quest in dance music has brought him to many a venue around the northeast catering for a wide spectrum of different dance genres to revellers of all sorts,never disapointing his crowd and working the dance floor to riotus effect, from tech house,tech trance, progressive trance uplifting trance,hard trance , techno, funky techno through to hard house always leaving the stage to the cries of "one more".Being a big rising talent the underground dance scene has taken him to some blinding events earning him slotts alongside big hitters in the industry and massive respect and recognition among the dj community.Some of his guest appearences include "The Palace Nightclub"(warm up resident) "Vuzz" (newcastle)"Sunday Trading" (newcastle) "Lost" (The Barn) "The Communion" (technoOrgasm) "Hullaballoo" (TechnoOrgasm) "Loud&Proud" (Tyneside) and his own succesful trance night "2Naughty"(resident/promoter) (The Quay) where he was joint resident alongside "Tsunami records" signed trance wizzard Luke Terry!! More recently he had the honour of Dj'ing alongside Gatecrashers JFK at "Vicious trance classics" event through the summer(Kubar) witch was a real treat.
On the decks he is currently playing with a versitile mixture of trancey ellements to a rough techno groove that provides dirty bass with a hint of trance and works the socks off big soundsystems hitting all the right spots on the dance floor. On the prodution front he continues to make waves with his own interpritation of tech/trance that has gained support thoughout the underground scene's dj's producers and punters alike.His sound flirts with progressive trance, techno, trance and breakbeat grooves that follow enchanting stringed and melodic sections designed to uplift and energise people.In his words "I dont like to pin myself to one genre and try to remain versatile taking my insperation from everything musical". Since his short break out of the scene he feels the time is right to get back out there on the dj circut and do what he loves doing (uniting like minded people who enjoy music, making them happy and getting a positive reaction).
