Ken Watts have a regional commercial currently airing in 12 states in the southeastern region of the United States(Florida, Tennessee, Alabama,etc.) starring as a comical driver singing "off" key in a Direct General Auto Insurance commercial. You've seen the commercial if you are living in any of these states.Ken is a highly trained actor and performer who recently performed in West Los Angeles at The Black Box Theater for the stage production of "Freedom Bluz"(2007). Previously, he performed at Theatre Palisades Pierson Playhouse in Pacific Palisades, CA for a six week run for the stage production of "The Hot L Baltimore" directed by Lewis Hauser in early 2007.Living in Los Angeles since 2004, Ken has performed in other stage plays, playing one of the main characters in the dramatic urban play "Decisions" by U Care Productions(2004). Also played various characters in "Edmund" performed at the Tamarind Theatre in Hollywood,CA directed by Steve Helgoth(2004). Guest starred in an independent film, "Citizens Arrest"(2004).Raised on the Southside of Chicago in the Morgan Park area (wild 100s section)with a mixture in his ethnic background which includes Black and Filipino, he was acting in Chicago since 1996 and received theatre training and broadcasting at the highly acclaimed performing arts school Chicago's Columbia College and also performed in college plays. Starred in Columbia's soap opera,"Hungry Hearts", televised on Chicago's Cable Access Channel.
